What is Polished Concrete?

Polished concrete is a style of concrete produced by grinding the rough surface of laid concrete with diamonds to expose the aggregate within the slab.

By continuing to grind with finer diamonds, it is possible to achieve a polished finish. Once sealed, this will provide a glossed aesthetic which is smooth to the touch and looks fantastic. The style is often used on expansive areas such as living rooms or dining areas, however, is not suited for outdoor use, where honed concrete is a better suited product.
